Features

The condenser is a device that condenses exhaust steam of turbine and converts it into water. It is kept to the vacuum state. Therefore it raises heat drop of steam in a turbine and so raise turbine Power, that is, the efficiency of Power plant. And it enables purified water to be recycled, and removes non-condensable gas or dissolved oxygen.

The condenser is classified into cylinder type and rectangular type by its shell shape, vertical type and horizontal type by the inflow direction of exhaust steam, uniflow type and double-flow type by the flow type of cooling water, and single-pressure type and multi-pressure type by pressure.

Since 2000, BHI has produced cylinder type condensers for Power generation in steel plants. BHI has introduced advanced technologies in technical cooperation with Ecolaire Inc.. As a result, BHI received the order of #7/8 Condensers of Taean Thermal Plant in Korea, and the whole process in design, production, and delivery was treated by its own technology. So BHI built the foundation as a large-size rectangular condenser supplier. In overseas business, BHI has kept mutual cooperation relation with Siemens Power AG and provided several condensers. To comply with diverse requirements of customers, BHI expands its business realm to be a supplier for various condensers including extra-large condensers for nuclear Power plants.
